Love wasn't a part of my speech vocabulary when growing up. I used "LIKE" instead because of the power the word love carries. Occasionally when I used love I really meant it with every fibre in my body. But what do we see now? Love is the most abused word in the English Dictionary. Love has lost its linguistic value. Maybe the world is showing more love now than when I was a kid but I guess not. It's rather the opposite. It's like an improper fraction or an indirect proportion the mathematicians may say. Now we use love more often but we don't show it.
What is love? It's simple, it is a verb. That's my simplest definition of love. The Holy Bible didn't give an exact definition of love but gave characteristics of love which I summarise as A VERB. Love is a verb (the things we do or the actions we take defines whether we are showing love or not) but not a noun (just a word we say to others which aren't backed by actions). Everyone can say I love you but not all people can show love.
The Holy Bible says in
I Corinthians 13:4-7 NKJV
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Look at the response of Jesus was asked what is the greatest commandment
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
Matthew 22:36-37, 39-40 NKJV
Matthew 22:36-37, 39-40 NKJV
When you read the law of Moses or the Ten Commandments you'll notice that they all revolve around love but because love is so broad it had to be broken down for them to be able to PRACTICE it easily.
Be a love giver not a love speaker. You cannot give something you don’t have and love is from God, because He’s is the author of Love. Love God more and He will fill you with Love for you to be an Ambassador of Love for His Kingdom.
Go out there and Show some love❤️😘😍
